When I first saw this image it reminded me of a recurring dream from my earliest days in racing.  During these nightmares I would suddenly wake up realizing I was a spectator for a race I was supposed to be competing in.  It was a variation on a dream that I used to have during university days about missed exams.

One useful result of having this nightmare was my insistence that we were always first to arrive on the mock grid for each and every session.

In the distance you can see the entrance to the downhill right-hander that is Turn One at Mt. Tremblant.
